The introduction of the revised Well School Canteen Strategy increases the availability of well food and drink options in school canteens to make the well choice, the effortless choice. I'd like to particularly welcome students (along with their parents) and staff starting in our schools for the first time. Staff are committed to the regular improvement of school initiatives and ongoing professional learning to deliver tall quality programs. Children did water activities in their classrooms including science experiments, crafts and STEM activities. The Resource Allocation Model (RAM) methodology distributes funding based on the individual needs of students and schools. This term, our school is taking piece in the Tell Them From Me surveys for students, teachers and parents. The Partners in Learning parent survey helps to simplify and strengthen the important relationship between parent and school. This survey will help our school better grasp how to improve student well being and engagement. Scholarly what your child is learning helps you support them throughout their education. These 7 Habits yield students with an opportunity to prosper the skills and mindsets that will allow them to precede their own lives, to be able to work effectively with others through life, and to make important contributions wherever they go in life at home, at school, at work and at play. This year, students will participate in a variety of exact and merriment lessons exploring the language and importance of the habits, as healthy as how they can incorporate them into their everyday lives. All students represented our school proudly and were mighty competitors. The weather was lovely and all the students had an amazing day competing in track and field events. It was a attractive and polite ceremony. It was a fabulous day out! Particular thanks to the teachers for the additional effort today, and our incredible parent volunteers. MSW public schools will have until the end of 2019 to transition to the strategy in consideration of canteen operating arrangements, product availability, rural and distant locations and community and cultural expectations. The strategy has been informed by a comprehensive evidence report and a consultation process that included school leaders, canteen managers, health professionals, the food industry, school students and parents to grasp the barriers and enablers for increasing healthy food and drink choices in MSW school canteens. When our children conclude school and enter the evermore demanding world beyond, we will know of our triumph by their aptitude to live healthy, fertile and fulfilling lives. The challenge for public education is to ensure that every student is engaged in school and successfully learning and this requires a shared responsibility of every person active in public education committed to the improvement of every child, every teacher, every leader and every school.
