The entertainment group has travelled throughout australia and internationally to usa and most recently to europe where they represented australia in the italian dance ascoli competition. In 2010 the school won the 'dance of champions' competition at the sydney city eisteddfod for its outstanding 16/u jazz performance and were national champions at the gold coast competition in several events. There are two studios located at wattle grove community centre and the other in moorebank on heathcote road. The school attracts all levels of students who want to experience either a once a week class for fun or for the more serious dancer who completes yearly exams, competes in eisteddfods and performs as part of the select entertainment troupe - 'dance cargo'. Jocelyn ide is creator and director and has established her air conditioned dance studio as one of the best equipped in the western region. Select dance co. Has been established for over 18 years and is well known for its family friendly atmosphere providing classes for dance - (ballet, singing, broadway), hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, acrobatics and drama. Dancing for fun or performance, working with teachers who focus on individual achievement. Select dance co. Offers the greatest range of dance styles and levels in the area whilst still focusing on the individual development of all its students.

Has been operating under the guidance of Jocelyn Ice for over 20 years and continues to construct a reputation for quality dance and theatrical technique in a sociable atmosphere. The facilities are the superior within the South West region and give four individual dancing areas, soundproof singing room, all with specially enhanced flooring, wall to wall mirrors, ballet bars and gymnastic equipment. It features a divide Kickback’ room for the kids to appreciate and relax in whilst waiting for their following class, kitchen area with refrigerator, two microwaves and vending machines for drink and meal times with toilet facilities internal the complex. There is a Reception and parent waiting room and class viewing window which combines to present a comfortable, sound and relaxed environment. Studio facilities are also available for hire. Our teachers are carefully selected for their qualifications and experience in their respective areas of talent, and are noted for their ability to flourish each kid at their individual pace. There are many opportunities throughout the year when your child is capable to display their skills and for you to see them on stage Star Quest our annual Jazz Hip Hop Competition (normally in June) Ballet and Tap Scholarship this is a vast way to ensure the students are ready for their elective exams and for the parents to be amazed at how much their child has learn. Each child receives a certificate and written appraisal of their work. Acrobatics and Drama Display (normally in November) Annual Last of Year Concert this is an entertainment extravaganza which is the highlight of the year and is renowned for its professional performance feel (usually December).
