Kay joins our school community with a wealth of experience in teaching and leadership. School staff urge students and their families in the process of transition from hospital to their home schools or to other educational settings. Staff form part of the multidisciplinary team on the wards, active in partnership to achieve the superior outcomes for students. Those students who are unable to reach to the schoolroom are provided with individual labor in their rooms. A healthy deserved fracture for our Principal, Gina Davidson. Our combined ADD at the Art Gallery was an extraordinary day of professional learning for all staff. What can teachers do? What can School do? With federal government funding provided under the Every Student, Every School initiative, the teaching principals of Liverpool and Banks town Hospital Schools have developed this feebly to urge every teacher in every school to better grasp and to better support all students in every class they teach and to be proactive in helping students flourish and maintain mental health and healthy being. This feebly has videos, expert advice on how to encourage students, teaching strategies, Apps, ideas and links to resources for teachers, students and parents. We defy every teacher to try at least one strategy every day with every student in every class in every school to aid students to build their personal capacity to become positive, reflective, resilient people who strive to maintain their health. We further challenge them to try the alike strategies with themselves and their colleagues, their children and families to see the difference positivity and using their own character strengths can make to their own health and healthy being. Some students labor in a group in the hospital school classroom whilst others entire labor in the wards assisted by the teachers and the school learning urge officers and parents if available. Teaching takes deposit in the schoolroom for those qualified to come. Students who need to remain in the ward are visited by the teacher or a learning urge officer and are provided with educational programs in their rooms.
